Security IT Manager
Description of Project/Position:
-
Work directly with customers to deliver quality Professional Services engagements
- Lead projects and customer implementations with NetIQ Solutions (technical team lead)
- Perform the on-site installation and configuration of NetIQ Security products
- Conduct training on NetIQ products to medium and large-size audiences
- Work with other areas within the company to resolve customer issues
- Participate in various key internal and technical products.
Skills / Experience:
Dept of Defense Secret clearance or higher required.
Minimum of 5-7 years experiences in consulting, product support or training in a high-tech environment or 5 years experience in large scale IT Engineering\support for a Fortune 500 Organization.
Strong technical background in Security, Security Incident Management (SIM), Security Monitoring, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Forensic analysis, Auditing and Log Management.
Previous Experience with other Security applications required.
Previous Experience with Security Manager, Secure Configuration Manager and Security Administration Suite (SAS) preferred
Knowledge of Security Standards required
Strong Windows OS knowledge, UNIX experience preferred
BS/BA degree.
Excellent customer facing consulting skills.
Ability to deliver instructor led training classes.
Individual must be a self-starter and self-reliant.
CISSP certification a plus
Excellent decision making, communication, presentation and time management skills.
